I'm at the beginning of my linux installation. I have 2 hard drives, c: and d: . I'm using fdisk to delete and recreate partitions. What is confusing to me is this. I've deleted both c and d and at the moment c is my primary fixed disk drive. When I'm working with c, it acts as if d doesn't even exist, and I've noticed that if I try it the other way around and make d the primary fixed disk, it acts as if c doen't exist. I have a couple books that I'm using as a guide, and the one book shows exactly what I'm doing, with both a c and d drive but it shows them both on one screen. It's not showing me both on my screen. Can anyone tell me what may be happening. I want to be able to use both hard drives so that I can have more space. Eileen

Ray May the force be with you!
