I was able to get beyond the parition situation, I just went along and it turned out fine. Now, during the installation I can't get it to go further than a certain oint. 1st, like I said in an eariler posting, I have drive c-239M, d-202M. I started out with creating /(root)-hda1, /usr-hda5, /home-hdb1, and swap-hda6. I don't have var or /usr/local (can I get away with that?) anyway, it goes and scans, does what it does BTW, I'm using Disk Druid. It starts with root fine, then it gets to hda5 and it doesn't go through. It gives me an error saying mount failed: invalid arguement. Can anyone tell me what this means? I tried making changes by trial and error by adding and taking things off of the installation list. I don't think the problem is that I'm tring to install more than the memory available because I tried installing the least amount and I get the same result. I also tried changing the amount of memory in each of the mount points. If possible can anyone tell me what might be my problem, and also if you had 2 hard drives with this memory amount how would you distribute it efficiently? Thanks a bunch, I greatly appreciate any help.
