One question about LINUX. We have a LINUX server where some users are connected to this. When we try to log as root user from a computer different from the server we get the message: Invalid Password, so we have to logg from another user and then to log as root user by the command `su`. Whereas if we log as user root from the server we are able to logg on the system. Does anybody know which is the problem that causes this? Or in the other way, I would like to know if this is normal. This is the security feature of Linux/Unix. You are not allowed to telnet as root user. Do not even do su, unless you have a secure link. This is for your system's safty!
