hi, i'm new here and i was installing linux redhat 6.1, but because i'm new
on that system, can somebody say me how i can install the networkcard ?

Hi,
   I cant give you very detailed instructions but the first thing to look
for is to see if Linux is actually reconizing you network card( I assume
that it is in you computer!) . When linex boots look for a device "eth0" if
this appears as linux is booting and it says it's OK , then you just need to
setup you software. If not you need to get linus to recognize you network
card. Linux does not work with all network cards, you need to find out what
card you have add look of specific instruction for that card. I had to use a
DOS utility with my netgear nic to setup the card so linux could use it.

a lot of your questions
most likely they will be in /usr/doc/howto/
