Hi,

I have a 4 port serial adapter from Sealevel. I want to use it on Linux
RedHat. Its version is 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5-15). I got some problem to
install the serial adapter (see error message below). Can anybody tell
me what is wrong? Thanks a lot.

The following 4 lines of commands are generated by an install script
coming with the card,
# setserial /dev/ttyS5 port 0x1 irq 11 ^fourport autoconfig
# setserial /dev/ttyS6 port 0x8 irq 11 ^fourport autoconfig
# setserial /dev/ttyS7 port 0x1 irq 11 ^fourport autoconfig
# setserial /dev/ttyS8 port 0x8 irq 11 ^fourport autoconfig
# setserial /dev/ttyS5 set_multiport port1 0x8 mask1 0xf match1 0x0
Cannot get multiport config: Input/output error


# cat /proc/pci
