hey,
i have been trying at linux for a long time...and now im desperate. linux
will not mount my hd. i partitioned it right. swap file and evreything. i
have no device conflicts. pleeeease anyone tell me (i know i must sound
stupid to you people but dont flame me) what to do.

If you are using disk druid, don't. Learn how to use fdisk that
comes with your linux disk (eg, RedHat) to create your
partitions. fdisk looks more challenging because of its command
line interface but it is easy to use and very powerful.>
