Hi. I had a Hard drive go haywire on be the other day. I havd disconnected
it, but now i keep getting the message:

    GRUB: Hard Disk Error

I am almost sure there is nothing wrong with this hard droive, so how do I
bypass grub and verify the Windows DMI pool?

Thanks!

Hmmm, maybe because grub is looking for menu.lst on the diks on your
desk to know what to boot?

Assuming that is a windows only disk, restore windows mbr
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=remove+linux+partition+fdisk+mbr

Results 1 - 10 of about 7,640. Search took 0.19 seconds.

other keywords would be fdisk /mbr for 95/98 windows
and fixboot and fixmbr for NT/2000/XP systems.
