installed lilo to c drive windows will not find the file if you start 
installation again when you come to drive detection you can delete
  linux partition but easy way is partitionmagic

Boot computer with win98 boot disk, type "fdisk /mbr".
that gets rid of the lilo boot screen, if you installed it to the mbr.
that'll get ya bootin back to XP.  as for the other partition, you're 
gonna just have to reformat it, unless you repartition the disk back to 
100% usage.
