um , how dio u  install linux after burning the iso and extracting the 
files?

Burn the ISo as an image to the disc, don't just burn the file as an
"nameName.iso" to the disk. Than the disk should have an autorun. If you are
tryign to install RedHat, they always have an autorun. So, just reboot with
the disk in your drive.

If you are using Nero to burn go to "File >> Burn Image...", open the file
(ISO) you want to burn, and push the red button. Here's a link that should
