hello,
I have recently purchased and installed a copy of redhat linux on
two CDROMs and I love it. I loved it so much I decided the 1.2 gig
Dardrive I had it on was not enough, so I went out and bought a new
2.5gig for it. I wanted to give the old hard drive to a friend who uses
win95, so i did.

When he installed it on his machine he used fdisk on it and tried to
install win95, it installed fine, but when you rebooted it came up LILO
Boot and did not go any further. Please help me with this as I have
assured him that it would work but now I look like a fool cause I can
not make it work on his computer.

The hard drive is an old 1.2gig WD and it is pretty standard. I had
removed all of the linux stuff I put on it but it says it is still
looking for lilo to boot from. What do I do?

I would appreciate any help in this area,
Richard H. Strickler

Easy to fix...use fdisk /mbr
LILO will disappear at next bootup.
