Hello, maybe someone can help me. I received a CD for Linux Suse and installed it on my laptop. Now I need to remove it again and don't know how. I need to format the HD, I think, but my emergency disk that has fdsk etc. on it, doesn't work. Please help me to get Windows back. THANKS!!! -- So long, Heidi. Then you can use fdisk You should also be able to boot with the SuSE CD and select 'Rescue' mode. Then you should also have fdisk, but it works a bit diferent. Linux have a utility called cfdisk that is user-friendly that might be available in rescue mode, I am not sure. If you have to use the linux fdisk, do the following: fdisk /dev/hda Then type 'm' to get a list of commands I hope this helps Andre
