Please help.  I am new to linux (mandrake 8.0)  I would like to set up a box
with mandrake on it.  I have a old box 266 amd.   Will that work with
mandrake and if so do i have to install it from a dos prompt or windows?

mandrake 8.0 have a version of kde very big... your pc maybe run it very 
slow..... for all distribution you can use .... for me you'll find Gnome 
more faster. bye tolmino
