Hi,

I've recently installed RedHat v7 and it appeared to install ok, picking up
my hardware automatically, but it comes up with a command line login and
interface.

Can I type a command to get the GUI up, and is there something I've done
wrong in the installation.

I have graduated throught v 6, 6.1 and 6.2, all of which have come up with
command line environment.

On my old machine I had v 6.2 in GUI without ever having a proble.

Hi:

RedHat 7 has both Kde and Gnome, so you should be able to get the GUI
up by typing " startx " at the prompt.

HI:

In order to get a GUI up, assuming you have the X configured, just
type "Startx" at the prompt. RedHat 7 has KDE and Gnome, so should do
it for you. Good luck.
