(sorry if sounds a bit weird I am just frustrated)
I bought the cd. I partitioned the Hard drive. I booted up the CD-rom and I
hit enter like it said to do.after I hit enter it came up with a massive
error there were some Hexadecimal numbers then it said
        Call trace: Bad ESP value
Code: <1> Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual
address bfcdcc7
then there were a bunch of other numbers and it stopped
I don't have any of the special hardware it mentioned in the help and I
can't find any info on this type of error on the internet if any can help it
would be much appreciated.

lost and confused

Do you see a line that says Panic: that's the panic string... could
you possibly post that?

Cheers,
