Now to copy Suse linux 9.2 DVD?

I been trying to copy my friends Suse linux 9.2 free DVD, my PC running XP 
with Roxio7 crashes before the coping starts using copy disk. I then tried 
copying all the files to a DVD-R and the files copied, but now I can not 
boot from the copied DVD.

I am no Linux expert so please advise on how to copy this disk?
