I have had Rethat 7 running for a few moths, but today, when I tried to log onto the terminal ( telnet from a WinME connected on my LAN ) the login dialogue asked for the user name, then did not display the password prompt... [ctrl]-c broke the program and it went back to the username prompt. I went to the console on the server and tried to log in as a user, then as root, and both times the same thing happened, I could put in the user name, but the password prompt would not display, and if I just typed in the password, nothiong happened, though in all 3 cases I could break back to the username prompt with [ctrl]-c Any help is appreciated :-)
