Does anyone know if there is a problem dual booting windows me, I can use fdisk to re-size my partitions they save and can then be formatted, i then install windows me, then restart my computer, windows runs fine, the probelm starts hen i try to install linux on the other partition, i fource boot from the linux cd gointo the setup programme, finally when i go to install it it says there is notenough room and prompts me to use fdisk or disk druid to re-size again,, when i look at disk druids screen in says that windows me is using the entire hrd drive. after i had already partitioned it. after this i cannot re-size without deleting windows back off the system i if anyone could help with this problem it would be great

How much room have you allowed for redhat's installation? Have you created a swap partition? Have you even told diskdruid which partitions you wish to format as ext2fs and use for your linux installation? -- Bye, Rhakios

try tagging the linux prtition as bootable. don't forget to let Lilo(linux loader) take over the MBR(master boot record) also do make sure that you do have enough space in the designated spot(liux partitions) -- Terry Inzauro Field Technician Axiom Integration, Inc. 2200 Abbot Dr. Carter Lake, IA 51510 (402)-(345)-(5500) mailto:tinzauro@axiomintegration.com I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.
