I'm trying to get the modem of the RBEM56G-100 to work.

pppd output for /dev/ttyS1:

Initializing modem 
Sending: ATZ 
ATZ 
OK 
Modem Initialized 
Sending: ATDT "Telefoonnummer" 
Waiting for carrier 
ATDT "Telefoonnummer" 
NO DIALTONE 

The modem is initialized, but can't connect?? The same telephone line
works fine with an external modem.

I hope someone can help me.
