Hello all, I am using .htacces to protect my dir's, but anyone on the Internet can see the passwd. I'd like to know if the are any CGI or PERL scripts out there that encrypt the passwd. Any input is appriciated. Bahman@ICA.Net

In you're .htaccess file you give the location of the .passwd file which is created with passwd from a unix command line (through telnet if the server is by your provider) do man passwd to find out how to create a .passwd file the passwords in the .passwd file are encrypted so it should solve you're problem.
