how can you possibly say that linux is worse then windows? do you like the BSOD when you try to open something as simple as a text file??? The fact that it's not for beginners is exactly why it will never be a serious threat to Windows (any version). For a new user, linux is very intimidating and definately not user friendly. To make matters worse, the existing documentation is written very poorly if at all. I am very much in favor of Linux and the open source/free concept.
