I have a pinicle tv tuner card I need help installing the updated i2c so I can use bttv 0.7x . I tried installing it myself and after I loaded the modules and rebooted my computer I got a message after it found the module dependancies unresolved symbols in all the modules I installed. What does that mean. What directory do I store the i2c files in. and what do I have to do with my kernel to get this to work.

Andrew, Unresolved symbols usually means that the modules you are trying to load do not match up with the kernel you are currently running. You really need to recompile the modules (exactly how since they are non-default I don't know, you'll have to check about :) to match the current kernel version. Then run depmod -a if you've installed it and it should work a bit better. Compiled modules (.o files) usually reside in /lib/modules/x.y.z/, where x, y and z are the kernel version. -lewiz.
