I have a Red Hat 7.0 server where one of the nics uses a DHCP assigned IP. I
find that when the IP lease expires, I have to reboot to renew this nics'
connection. Does anyone have a solution for this?

All I do is do an ifdown <interface> then ifup <interface>
eg.
        ifdown eth0
        ifup eth0

When eth0 comes back up it automatically grabs a new ip.

Thanks,
I was really hoping to find a way to have it automatically renew itself.
But this should alleviate a little bit of the headache.
