Hey guys, when I boot directely from cd the Linux installation freezes at
"cd-rom initializing",  it won't go any further. And when I try to use boot
disk (cd rom.img) it displays "linux boot failed". I am installing it on dos
machine. Any ideas please reply to Gavrik@bellsouth.net

I had the same problem today, so I burned another copy thinking I had a bad copy
and still had the same results. Then I put the Mandrake cd in my other cdrom
drive and it worked, I had no further problems. My first cdrom drive is my
burner.
