I am the very proud Mother of a young man who deserves to be given the
opportunity to go to university.

I am also, sad to say, not that well off and in debt . My boy has always
been good and it breaks my heart knowing that unless I get help from
somewhere I will not be able to send him.

I have seen many get rich quick schemes in the news groups and am fearful of
getting embrioled in such things so I really do think that if I swallow my
pride and simply declare that I need help to realise a dream that there will
be some compassionate people out there somewhere in the world that will do
some good. There are many more deserving cases out there but for those of
you that have been fortunate to be able to help your offspring you will know
where I have found it in my heart to ask for a small gesture of support . I
felt that if I asked for �1.00 then I might just get a few people to
understand and make this small but vital contribution to this young mans
life.

I cannot offer anything in return except that warm feeling in your heart
that you know for a small price you have made a huge difference to someones
life, he is a good boy and I know that in a strange way he will repay his
debt of gratitude to the community throughout his lifetime as I have always
tried to do.
