Montessori Learning Academy of Tulsa, Oklahoma is in desperate need
for some financial help.

The Back Story:

The IRS had demanded $47,000 due by May 26, 2004 or the school will be
shut down.

From 1998 to 2000 this school was owned by a Lady who never paid her
taxes (or bills). It was operated under the name Children's Montessori
House at 51st & Memorial.

In 2001 she sold the school to one of her employees but never told the
new buyer about the back taxes owed. The new owner (with the financial
help of friends and family) bought, renamed and reopened the school
under her ownership as Montessori Learning Academy and relocated at
61st and Mingo.


The new responsible owner paid her bills and taxes as one should. When
paying the IRS, the IRS discovered Children's Montessori House had
never paid their taxes and demanded that MLA pay the back taxes of
nearly $47,000.

The original owner worked as Lead Teacher under the new ownership,
until the new owner found out about the back taxes owed. The original
owner left town after a visit from the IRS.


The new owner explained to the IRS that MLA was a new entity with new
tax id and everything and that the only thing she did was buy the
assets from Montessori Children's House which closed down.

The IRS accepted these facts until April 15th of 2004. The IRS
Then demanded full back tax payments of $47,000 by May 26th or the
school will be closed down. The reasoning by the IRS is based on the
fact that the new owner worked for the previous school and is
therefore responsible for the taxes. (Evil IRS reasoning.)

The previous owner has skipped town to avoid prosecution leaving the
new owner with $47,000 back taxes.

Please help save the school. All we need is one dollar from
approximately 47,000 people.
