As an Alabamian I wish to voice my regets that our governor and entire legislative process has let us, the decent people of the great state of Alabama, down to possibly the lowest point of our history. The war on drugs is of paramount issue to any one. To limit the war on drugs essentially gives a large percentage of drug users and dealers free reign to practice their habits, which will touch every fabric of our culture in the form of fear of the abusers or the influencing of our your citizens to use drug, therefore compounding the decline of our society. In reflection, I feel that Govenor James' actions were completely inappropriate, I am willing to pay the extra taxes for my child to grow up in a safe society. I do not know of the Govenor's motivations for his actions but, I want an answer of why this was done!
