Hi all, Sorry for the cross postings but I'm really need all the help and opinions that I can get for my situation. First, bought a Hayes modem thinking that I can get a rebate of US$40 back. Sent in the rebate form and receipt in JUNE. Did not get my money back. Call up HAyes, they told me to send it again. I did that and still no money. Then I E-mailed the Hayes online support, initially, there was still response, but now, they totally ignore my E-mail. (just sent another email to Hayes again today) I'm really fed-up and frustrated now. It's no more a $40 rebate thing, I'll like to go all the way to make sure justice is done. Justice as in Hayes will keep their promise of a rebate. Any help and opinion will be appreciated. Thanks! Kay P/S: please reply me using E-mail as I'm not able to monitor so many newsgroup at the same time. thanks.

Thanks! > All the rebate programs are scams because they are intended to confuse or discourage as many as 80 percent of the people who are qualified from actually getting the rebate. This method is now being used all over the place in computers to make a price seem lower to the consumer but not actually cost the manufacturer what it appears to cost. The solution is for an internet lead boycott of all computer rebates.
