If an application requires Win98, it usually means that it needs or uses specific
Win98 files in order to run. Trying to fool the Win98 app by forging the Registry
will probably not help. The developer or programmer may ask the installer to
look for specific Win98 files by their time stamps, size, version, etc. properties
as well as their values in the Registry. In other words, there is too much to
change in order to create the spoof.
