I'd like to notify some problem I found using my new computer during
Windows 95 setup and configuration, expecially during the installation of
Office 95 and Plus!.
When I start setup program, I get some errors such as "error in VXD
VMM(01)" (on a blue screen with white text characters DOS-like) or error in
mssetup.dll or other.
In spite of this, these problems do not arise when I start other setup
programs, like Adobe Photoshop 3.0 or Visual C++ 4.0 (which have similar
installation procedures).
Evermore, my DIRECTCC.EXE (for direct connection via serial port or
parallel port, even if the latter did not ever work properly) has stopped
to work properly after about a week of correct and right use.

My computer is built in this way:

Mother Board Pride Freeway II with 512 Kb of cache burst pipeline, Pentium
133 Mhz and 32 Mb of RAM (two 16 Mb 70ns SIMMs) with Award BIOS upgraded
to 10 of September version.

Stealth 3D 2000 Video Card with S3 Virge processor and 2 Mb of DRAM.

CD-ROM reader Pioneer DR-A10X, 10X IDE.

Quantum Sirocco 1700A Hard Disk, 1.7 Gb.

Creative SB 16 Value PnP.

I use Windows 95 and a 'POWER ON' default CMOS configuration.

Thank you for any feedback.
