A world leader in Online Entertainment seeks a Systems Integration Engineer.
The candidate must have at least two (2) years of UNIX administration
experience with a portion of that time in the testing and integration of
UNIX-based applications.  Additionally the candidate must be versed on
quality assurance methodologies.

The responsibilities are: Configuration and Integration of UNIX-based
equipment.  Development of Integration test bed environments.  Documentation
throughout the entire systems integration process to include but not be
limited to: 1. Hardware configuration requirements. 2. Operating system
configuration and requirements. 3. Systems integration documentation. 4.
Quality defect reporting. 5. Operational procedures/manuals. 6. Support and
escalation procedures.  In addition, control of commercially deployed
applications, capacity planning, second-tier support.  Also detailing of the
UNIX platform required for on going integration needs as well as monitoring
of UNIX platform.  Design of a UNIX test bed environment and Leadership role
within the UNIX Q & A process.

Required Technical skills (mandatory):
Operating systems: UNIX
Languages: UNIX Shell scripting, AWK, TKL, Perl
LAN/WAN Architecturing: Tiered server topology configuration.
Network Security: Firewall installation/ configuration/ maintenance
experience. SSL V2/V3 understanding.
Network Management tools: SUN LAN Manager, HP Open View.
Understanding of Web Networking: Installation/ configuration of Web servers,
laying out of DMZ LANs.  Internet security, Intranet architecturing.
System Integration: Testing / integration methodology, and test bed design
experience.

Networking and influence.  Constructive aggressiveness are expected
attributes.
