Stages of young adult development

My name is Tracey Jane and I am a psychology honours student at the
University of South Australia. If you are between the ages of 18-40, I
would like to invite you to participate in my thesis research which
involves an exploration of the stages of young adult development.

The purpose of this study is to assess the degree of independence
young adults experience from their family of origin and to examine
their level of commitment and satisfaction in career and
relationships.

If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an online
questionnaire involving 69 questions which will require approximately
10-15 minutes to complete. The questions concern your personal goals
and attitudes towards your career, intimate and familial
relationships. The following link will give you access to the survey
which may be submitted online.

No identifying information will be attached to your response, thus
anonymity is assured. In addition, you are free to withdraw your
participation at any time.

All information which is collected will be kept for 7 years in a
locked storage room in the School of Psychology, and a copy of the
completed thesis will be available in the Magill library. Should you
wish to receive a summary of the research upon its completion please
contact me via email on janty002@students.unisa.edu.au

This study has been approved the Human Research Ethics Committee of
the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences at the University
of South Australia. You are welcome to contact the Chair of the
Committee, Dr Sharon Russo on 8302 4469 with any ethical concerns, or
to contact my supervisor Ms Lynette Leaney on 830 24484 with any
general queries.

Thank you for your time and assistance,
Kind Regards,

Tracey Jane
