Unianova on SPSS

I was trying to use MAnova on SPSS, but, since I have only one dependent
variable (tha classification). and all others are indeoendent, should I use
Unianova instead? because SPSS 10 wont let me proceed with MANOVA with only
one dependent variable.

When I use UNIANOVA, I get 4 degrees of freedom (because fixed factor has 5
diferent transformations) and I get about 3600 DF Error. I should have only
about 120 (I supose). What am I doing worng?
Is that bad, to have a high DF Error?
