I need help in determining whether I have the correct data to perform a
specific test.

Problem: I am trying to determine if the completion of a parenting skills
course has an [positive] effect on their children's academic performance.

The variables to measure effect will be
1. Grade point average
2. State Test assessment scores
3. Attendance rate
4. Discipline Referrals [not too sure about this one]

The factors are:
1. Gender: Male, Female
2. Ethnicity; Hispanic, Black, White
3. Grade level: Elementary, Middle, High

[Honestly, Is this too much?]

I hope to {randomly?} select 7 of each factor, i.e.

Completed Program No Program
Black Male Elem = 7 Black Male Elem = 7
Black Female Elem = 7 Black Female Elem = 7
White Male Elem =7 White Male Elem =7
        :

        :
Hispanic Male High =7
Hispanic Female High = 7

Total 126 with program and 126 w/o Program for Grand Total = 252

Conclusion: I really just want to show whether or not the Parental skills
program effected student performance

But i do want to analyze any differences between gender, ethnicity, grade
level.

Thank you
