Sure, it's likely aliens exist, but not necessarily intelligent 
aliens and none of them exist on this planet, or in this star 
system. The difficulties of crossing interstellar space are to 
great to suppose that we have visitors from other stars, 
particularly since there is no hard evidence to show that they re 
here.

UFOs (the space ship kind) and aliens are the reinterpretation by 
the modern group consciousness of angels, demons and other 
spiritual beings. There is always a tendency to clothe these 
spirits in material bodies. Angels are described in the Bible as 
being just like men, for example. Aliens are the new angels.
