We'll always add: "...and with Windows 2000, you're going to >need it!" I think we need it now. This evening I went on an odyssey looking for an editor. I use a 486 PC, and my employer just got a Silicon Graphics workstation. Since I'll be programming on both, I figured I should learn an editor that's common to both. emacs seemed like the one. The SG version of emacs consumes 21 MB of disk space! The limited-feature one for a PC appears to consume over 6 MB! Just for a text editor! I think that what I really need to do is look for Unix and DOS versions of SpeedScript. Been years since I used my C-64, but I still miss SpeedScript. Ken Plotkin
