:No way!!! Doom for the C64??? This I HAVE to see! Any release
:information?

I know for a fact that there will be no DOOM for the C64.

ID wouldn't even do an Amiga version - they reckon the machine just wasn't good
enough.

So, the likelihood of a C64 version is zero.

Besides, even if somebody did do a DOOM for the C64, there is no way that the game
could be called the same name as the PC version, as the game would not be anywhere
near as good.

The C64 is a great machine, but not that good !

At the start of World War II, IBM's founder, Thomas Watson, said
"I think there is a world market for about five computers".

In 1970, on the eve of the PC revolution, DEC's founder, Ken Olsen, declared
"there is no reason for any individual to have a computer in their home".

In 1980, my mother said "Turn that stupid computer off, stop playing games,
and get on with your homework !".

Obviously, Mum has got more brains than the other 2 put together !!
