Times change & my BBS is no longer aimed at the classic 8 bit & 16 bit
computers.

However, over the years I've collected somewhat over 60,000 files & it'd be
a shame not to have these available to people who want 'em, so I've set up
an FTP server for people to help themselves.

The collection includes files for all Commodore 8 bitters, Amiga, Atari ST,
Amstrad CPC, CP/M (mainly C128 related), Sam Coupe & lots of docs &
schematics.

Four anonymous logins supported - head to ftp://landover.no-ip.com

cheers,

Lance

When I click on your site listing, A dialog
box entitiled : Log On As pops up

Here is the contents of the box:

Either the server does not allow anonymous
logins or the e-mail address was not accepted.

FTP server : landover.no-ip.com

User name : ____________________________

Pasword : ____________________________

After you log on, you can add this server
to your Favorites and return to it easily.

! FTP does not encrypt or encode passwords or data before
sending them to the server. To protect the security of
your passwords and data, use Web Folders (WebDAV) instead.

___ Log on anonymously ___ Save password

					_____________ ____________
					  Log On Cancel
					_____________ ____________

When I Log on anonymously, this same dialog box pops up again.

Is this what is supposed to happen?

Try using an FTP client instead of a web browser, and try again when it is
less busy.

Hello Lance, while it's nice of you to make the collection available,
is there any alternative method that you have that can be used to
obtain the whole collection, with your stated 100 files per day
limitation it would take 600 days to download all the files.

Using something like bit torrent would be more suitable. I've not
managed to download anything yet from your server as it drops the
connection when I try to start a download, even if I've successfully
logged in.

Cheers!
