It appears to have affected about half the tracks, like I said early on. I was basically looking for a tool that would give me a clear display of errors per track so I could see how many of the bad tracks the owner of the CD cared about recovering. > By the way do you recall what you called me about a year > ago when I posted regarding felt pens damaging CD's ? Just your fantasy/lying. I just commented on your peurile antics about working out which was the writeable side of the blank. As far as the use of felt tipped pens are concerned, I JUST said that you dont see reports of the Sanford Sharpies producing that result, NOT felt pens in general. And you yourself said that you hadnt seen any problem when using a sharpie. http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&selm=3b3d19b8%241%40news.iprimus.com.au > Anyway thats history, so try those tools, and try using a specialty > CD pen (eg Stadler) even though you find the tips too thick. It wasnt one I wrote on, it clearly aint, its obscenely thick, much worse than the Staedler or TDK.
