AT&T should have Android phones and probably will get the Windows phones
too later this year.

For web use and software support, iPhone and Android are ahead of
Blackberry, which is suppose to get a Webkit-based browser in the future.

There are also other uses of GPS than simply turn-by-turn driving
instructions. GPS in these smart phones have set off some innovation by
application developers to use the GPS for things like local restaurant
and services listings/reviews and other features which your PND won't
offer.
