Yes it was, it questioned if Frostys pay it or not. And explained that according to those we buy from, we pay it. How they collect it, I have know idea. I am not even sure of the rules and how they apply it to the product. >>and a levy is not the same as >> tax. All duty and levy's are include in the price of our products. >> > >I understood a previous poster saying he pays $28 per 100 at your place. > >$0.28 - $0.21 = $0.09 ?? Well then you explain how Future Shop or Staples can sell CD for less than others stores like mind can not according to your figures. Example.... $4.69 after rebates for 20 cd's ? $4.69 / 20 = $0.2345 - $0.21 = $0.0234 per cd ? Not to mention other stores that sell cd's for as much as $0.17 each. How wholesalers figure this levy out is not my problem. Then as you try to figure that out, what about those that can buy through the UK, and ship via UPS Express and pay even less. Take DVD's that run around $0.79 or less. Oh and not to leave out those that come from the USA. Hell if Canada can not control guns registation, how do you expect them to control $0.21 cent levy's ? Because that would me control of the importing at the borders, and we know that is a major problem both Canada and the US would like to fix.
