I have broken off the on/off switch on my 8310. Is there another way to turn
my phone on. At the moment I have to sort out the conectors on the board.

No, that's generally what the power switch is there for.

Get it fixed ASAP or risk damage to the PCB.

press around with aluminium foil
anything harder than that and you might damage the track, making it
(economically) unrepairable
