I have a POP and/or an IMAP email accounts that i want to be able to collect
emial from on my 6600 and damed if i can make heads or tails of how to do
this (so it will work)

so here are my questions;

1. is thier any benefit with a mobile in pop or imap if you have a choice in
setting up email collection
2. how to setup either/both of the above
3. can you just collect headers
4. with imap can i collect form folders other than the inbox?
5. can i collect from IR or BTOOTH instead of GPRS INTERNET when i am near
my laptop & its online
    if so how?
6. any hints or ideas that i may have missed, like when i sync with OutLook
does it double up the email?

This is the last major bugbare of mine and i will appreciate and post any
help to my blog, for other less fortunates.

Still dont have a decent othello/reversi ... damit, tombraider is killn my
battery life.

On that note, does anyone offer a higher capacity battery for the 6600?
Would love to get one if they did!

If the e-mail account you're using supports IMAP then use it. Note
that you cannto switch between POP and IMAP after creating the account
on your phone, you'd have to remove it and add it again. (On 3650 at
least). IMAP gives you more control over what to download and what to
leave on the server (attachments). 3650 (and most likely 6600)
doesn't support ALL Imap features such as remote mailboxes on the
server. Shouldn't be a problem.

Same as setting up a POP or IMAP account on your computer in Outlook
Express. You need the addresses for the incoming server and outgoing
server (your phone network provider's SMTP that is) and of course
username and password.

>3. can you just collect headers

Yes.

>4. with imap can i collect form folders other than the inbox?

No. (Not on 3650 at least) If you have additional folders you just
don't see them.

Not sure.. difficult probably.. Likely easier to use SyncML and sync
with Outlook?

Not with PC Suite. SyncML however does.

:-)

The original ones are not bad for their size. They're so small in
fact that you can easily carry an additional one in your wallet.

Oh and don't keep bluetooth turned on when you don't need it. This
eats power as well. I find original Nokia batteries last longer than
a no-name copy.
