After hanging up from an incoming call in the Nokia carkit the phone decides
to lock the keypad. Is this a bug? Anyone else come across this?

Not really, why do you want the keypad to lock whilst the phone is in the
car kit?

In the carkit? All my phones have not locked in a car kit, only when out of
them. Dunno if it's a software bug though.

I assume that the phone was in keypad locked mode before the incoming call
was answered, that normally happens when you end the call, it reverts back
to keypad locked
try disabling keypad lock (or automatic keypad lock for that if you have
enabled it) to see if it does the same

The phone was in lock before it was placed in the car kit and unlocked
automatically when inserted in the car lock. After the call is recieved and
ended the phone locks for some reason (still in the car kit).

Definitely a software problem. It happens with my 6210 as well. In
fact what it often does is:
- Keyboard locked. Insert into carkit - changes to handsfree mode and
unlocks keyboard.
- A few seconds later battery starts to charge - I get the charging
indicator flash up and then the keyboard locks.

The times that it does not do this...
-Remove phone from car kit (or switch off accessory power).
-Phone goes back to normal profile and keyboard remains unlocked.
-Press Hang Up button and keyboard locks.

I had it working the correct way for a while but after it locked
itself in a loop with another software fault and I had to remove the
battery to switch it off... it's back to it's old tricks (as above)
again).
