I have a Nokia 6600 and suddenly when I started it up "General System Error" came up. The phone loads rather slowly and then this appears. Is there any way to recover my SMS Messages and Photos stored on the phone? As some of them were from my ex-wife who past away 9 mths ago. I haven't touched the phone since in hopes of recovering the data but no one has been able to so this is a last resort. Does anyone know if it's possible to recover the messages/data? Thanks

Bad advice, as part of the repair process involves wiping the phone of all content and resetting back to factory defaults. -- Regards Jon

Telling the experts the reason to save the data would give a positive response from them.

Maybe they are better in the UK than Oz?
