How can I turn my nec p4 into a scanner?
Help me please!!!

dunno if it works on the p4, but sniff mode for my old NEC p3 *sniff* was

11 digits (any combo)
sto 69
rcl*
rcl#01
rcl#12
turn vol down 1 or 2 notches or it gets distorted
enter base no - ie 001
press #

"*" pauses the scan, "#" resumes

thats all i can remember - u might have to put a rcl#23 after the rcl#12,
but i is not sure.

doh, just remembered. its actually #69 after  #12, and the base no needs to
be 4 digits
