kit (floppy, manuals, cables) are on special offer at around �400,
but if I order the POST probe card [1] I can have the total works for
�700. Given the nature of the diagnostic utils (I have an older copy
that someone gave me - dead useful) you can verify that an item is
at fault, print out a report and mail it back to the supplier for a
replacement.

Given that we have around 100+ PC clones and we can't afford to
have too many out of action at any one time, this is a small price to
pay for the company for something as useful as this. But although
I can verify how useful the older version is, I haven't received v8
yet!!

[1] Power On Self-Test - plug it into a ISA/PCI slot of a dead mobo
and it'll tell you via a 2-digit code what is at fault. I'm looking
forward to receiving it with excitement!!
