Ah, it's your vid card. Is it AGP? Do you have the correct AGP drivers from your motherboard's cd rom installed? Can you set AGP 2x, 4X in your bios? Is it? Do you have VGA snoop enabled or palate memory? Disable. It's your vid mem that's having a hard time refreshing. check your monitor defaults....is it set to your type of monitor and refresh rate? Have you tried overclocking your vid mem? Do you have your front side bus set correctly? Have you gone to AMD or www.Tomshardware.com to check for Vid vs AMD problems? mapi "Brooks N Texas" <brookstexas@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:MPG.166874a578fb5ef49899d7@news-server.austin.rr.com... | In article <5NwL7.9885$sq2.396344@typhoon.austin.rr.com>, | rpmyers1@NOSPAMhotmail.com says... | > What do you use for playback? | > | > What file format are you using? | > | > "Brooks N Texas" <brookstexas@yahoo.com> wrote in message | > news:MPG.1668415f6ff38ffb9899d5@news-server.austin.rr.com... | > > Problem- | > > Mp3's and other sound files play fine but when I download a music video | > > on playback it's choppy (soundwise).
