2507 config question

First off, is anyone aware of another newsgroup
devoted to the Cisco IOS, which is more appropriate
to post configuration questions ?

Todays ?

I recently acquired a 2507 which has an intergrated
16 port hub.

I have yet to be able to configure/access the hub,
nor get as much as a link light.

Here's what I've done.

Configured e0 for 192.168.11.11 no shutdown
I can see this is up via sh int e0

then,

R# config t

R(config)# hub ether e 0 1 16

R(config-hub)# no shutdown

That's basically where I'm at.

But when I do a  sh hub  it says that;

port 1 of 16 is down, link state is down.

   same for every port, 1 - 16.

I've tried moving the cable through
about half the ports with no luck.

And what's the relationship between
interface Ethernet 0 and the Hub ?

Thanks for any help,
Lance

comp.dcom.sys.cisco is the most likely (among the groups carried by my ISP)
