The whole idea is just an easy way to make money. > MS make money on Software, then they make money teach you how to use the > software, then they make money on the books you have to buy, then they make > money again because you have to keep coming back to update your cert. wat can you do when every single job you look need experience + cert? we all know MS is making money, hey they cant let go everything for cheap, they r there to make money too! i personally think certs provide you with in-depth knowledge of how particular product works.. these are type of material is not usually covered in college degrees.. ofcourse, degree plays a vital role in long-term, but it is not just enough to show that you are a professinal these days.. degree and certs put you ahead in a crowd filled with so-called *professinals* it is your own choice whether or not to do certs/upgrade your cert... i know some company's beleive in what you say you are capable of, but these days it is no longer enough.. you need certs + hands-on experience + interpersonal skills!!
