>It's so difficult getting a job in IT here in Alberta, Canada. How many have you applied for? Last week, did you spend at least 40 hours looking for and applying for jobs? If not, why should I expect you'd work 40 hours a week at a job when you won't even work that much to get the job...? Jeff

Perhaps because presumably he would be getting paid for working, which he does not when applying for jobs would be one reason. Even if he hasn't spent 40 hours hunting last week, doesn't change the fact that it is difficult to get an IT job, if there are no jobs, you can spend 80 hours per week and still not get a job. What percentage of Canadians spend 40 hours per week job hunting when they are unemployed? A lot less than 50% I bet. So according to you, all these people are unreliable? <Jeff Cochran> wrote in message news:3c3d9117.91345417@news.supernews.com... > >It's so difficult getting a job in IT here in Alberta, Canada. > > How many have you applied for?
